What is the best way to load updated LFConnector software?

Unless otherwise noted in any special installation instructions, there is no need to remove the existing LFConnector software prior to upgrading.

  1. Using the eCopy SharesScan OP Administration Console note current settings for each defined settings profile on the Configure tab inside the LFConnector.
  2. Close out the eCopy ShareScan OP Administration Console.
  3. On the eCopy ShareScan Manager PC stop both the eCopy ShareScan OP Manager and the eCopy ShareScan OP Agent services in the Control Panel.
  4. Install the newer LFConnector software.
  5. Restart the services from step 3 above.
  6. Reconfigure the LFConnector profile(s) and save.
  7. Make sure all existing licensed devices are using the appropriate profile in the LFConnector.
